Through their journey to success such as entrepreneurship, we can observe that goal setting is part of the plan to achieve great aspirations in life. We can also learn the great values in them through such journey and goal setting. What are the values that one can learn from them?

Let us take a look at the following example of how we can learn great values from such extra ordinary individuals who achieved great success through goal setting. Since his youth, Pete always had great aspirations to inspire the young generations through his actions. He set goals in life, stepped into the world of entrepreneurship and had wonderful learning experiences. After great number of years, he finally achieved a high level of success. As Pete looked back at his experiences, he learns great lessons and values that enabled him to reach such level of success.

The first value he learns is responsibility and great ownership in his decision making in the business. He learns that one must be responsible for where he wants the business to be. Through such value of being responsible, it also enables him to learn another great value which is being a great learner from mistakes. He felt that through learning from his mistakes, it enables him to improve and develop the business as well as himself better. He also instills great willingness to continually learn not only in business but life itself.

The third value he learns is the experiences enable him to be a great visionary. For example, in his pursuit of great success in entrepreneurship, he builds great vision in himself of how the business will continue to benefit others successfully.

The fourth value he learns is his experiences enables him to learn great organizational skills. For example, good and bad experiences taught him to organize well in his short term and long term planning for the business. The experiences also taught him to have clear thoughts on the objectives, mission, planning and directions for the business and its development.

Other values that he learns is it taught him that with clear planning, taking action and great persistence in times of adversity enable him to achieve great success in his entrepreneurship journey. Pete also learns that with goal setting through the experiences, it enables him to grow as a leader and as a person as well.
