Millions of people around the world are familiar with the law of attraction. Unfortunately, lots of these folks have not familiarized themselves with the concepts of advanced attraction, especially the concept of focusing.
There is an old proverb that says, "energy flows where attention goes." This is a way of saying that whatever is "on your radar" throughout your daily life is affecting your thoughts, your behavior--- and your fortune.
Wealth experts are well aware that prosperity is always a mindset first. And when people fail to attract money and prosperity into their life, it is ALWAYS because they are operating with the wrong mindset--a mindset of lack and limitation.
So what exactly does it mean to be caught up in a mindset of lack? Basically, there are two ways to view the world. The most common assumption is that we live in a world where there is simply not enough to go around; not enough money, not enough food, not enough love, not enough good luck, not enough... fill in the blank.
This is commonly known as "the competitive mindset," because it implies that we must compete and struggle to achieve the wealth and prosperity that we desire, and if we do not, someone else will take all of the good opportunities, money, love or relationships from us.
Unfortunately, this misguided competitive mindset is the dominant philosophy of the Western world. But there is another philosophy of life that takes a very different point of view. It is known as "the creative mindset."
The creative mindset assumes that there is an abundance of money, opportunities, love and all the good things we want in life. It is an underlying assumption that colors every thought we have, and every action we take. And it is this mindset that attracts money -- and other good things -- to us.
The creative mindset means that we never have to compete for what we want, and in fact, there is no need to compete because there is an abundance of everything worth having in the world. Changing your state of mind from competitive to creative will change what you are attracting. When you give up trying to compete, you begin to base your thoughts and actions on the idea that there is only abundance in the world -- not on lack and limitation.
This mental shift will affect every area of your life. You'll begin thinking differently and acting differently; and this new way of thinking and acting will attract money and real prosperity--every time.
So the next time you find yourself struggling or feeling frustrated, ask yourself, "am I thinking competitively or creatively?" Remember, struggling is an indication of a mindset of lack. But the creative mindset assumes that lack is just an illusion, and the only reality of this world is abundance.
When we assume that abundance is the natural state of the world, we give up scratching and clawing in the "rat race," and we enter into the creative mindset that will attract money and real prosperity effortlessly.
